We’re looking for a Cosmetic Quality & Regulatory Affairs Manager to help us maintain our commitment to product safety, quality, and compliance as we continue to grow.
About the role:
As a Cosmetic Quality & Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest legal, regulatory, and quality standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll have the chance to shape the future of our brand while championing compliance and safety in every product we create.

So, what can you expect to work on?
  • Staying Ahead of the Curve: Monitor relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, ensuring internal processes and materials align with current requirements.
  • Ensuring Quality Excellence: Develop and implement robust quality control procedures for raw materials, production processes, and finished products.
  • Driving Compliance: Conduct audits and inspections, investigate quality-related issues, and maintain accurate records of tests, inspections, and compliance activities.
  • Navigating Regulatory Landscapes: Prepare reports for safety assessors and regulatory bodies, assist with EU portal registrations, and support certification processes.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, propose mitigation strategies, and champion preventive measures to uphold product quality and safety.
  • Supporting Product Development: Provide regulatory guidance during development stages and ensure compliance for product launches across local and international markets.
What you offer us
  • A degree in Chemistry, Biology, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field, coupled with a proven track record in quality assurance or regulatory compliance within the cosmetics industry.
  • Mandatory experience in cosmetics quality assurance or regulatory roles, with expertise in EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Knowledge of toiletries or electronics for specific products is a plus.
  • A self-reliant, detail-oriented, and structured approach to work, along with strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and German, with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A passion for innovation and natural beauty products that meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

Über die Rolle:
Als Cosmetic Quality & Regulatory Affairs Manager spielst du eine Schlüsselrolle dabei, sicherzustellen, dass unsere Produkte den höchsten rechtlichen, regulatorischen und qualitativen Anforderungen entsprechen. In Zusammenarbeit mit interdisziplinären Teams hast du die Möglichkeit, die Zukunft unserer Marke aktiv mitzugestalten und dich für Compliance und Sicherheit in jedem unserer Produkte einzusetzen.

Was erwartet dich bei uns?
  • Regulatorische Entwicklungen im Blick behalten: Überwachung relevanter Gesetze, Vorschriften und Branchenstandards, Anpassung interner Prozesse und Sicherstellung der Einhaltung aller Anforderungen.
  • Qualitätsstandards sicherstellen: Entwicklung und Implementierung von Qualitätskontrollverfahren für Rohstoffe, Produktionsprozesse und Endprodukte.
  • Compliance fördern: Durchführung von Audits und Inspektionen, Untersuchung von qualitätsbezogenen Problemen sowie Pflege von Prüf-, Inspektions- und Compliance-Dokumentationen.
  • Regulatorische Prozesse managen: Erstellung von Berichten für Sicherheitsbewerter und Behörden, Unterstützung bei EU-Portal-Registrierungen und Zertifizierungsprozessen.
  • Risikomanagement: Identifikation potenzieller Risiken, Entwicklung von Strategien zur Risikominderung und Förderung präventiver Maßnahmen zur Sicherstellung von Produktqualität und -sicherheit.
  • Produktentwicklung begleiten: Beratung bei regulatorischen Fragen während der Produktentwicklung und Sicherstellung der Compliance bei Produkteinführungen auf lokalen und internationalen Märkten.
Was du mitbringst
  • Einem Studium in Chemie, Biologie, Regulatory Affairs oder einem verwandten Bereich sowie nachweislicher Erfahrung in Qualitätssicherung oder regulatorischer Compliance in der Kosmetikbranche.
  • Erfahrung in der Kosmetikbranche im Bereich Qualitätssicherung oder Regulatory Affairs ist zwingend erforderlich, ebenso wie fundierte Kenntnisse der EU-Kosmetikverordnung (1223/2009). Kenntnisse über Körperpflegeprodukte oder Elektronik sind von Vorteil.
  • Einer selbstständigen, sorgfältigen und strukturierten Arbeitsweise, kombiniert mit ausgeprägter Detailgenauigkeit und organisatorischen Fähigkeiten.
  • Verhandlungssicherem Deutsch und Englisch sowie starken Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, um effektiv mit internen Teams und externen Partnern zusammenzuarbeiten.
